Adult Protective Services Fund
Your donations to the Adult Protective Services program help to purchase emergency food supplies and hygiene products when clients are temporarily in need, and also assist in the purchase of promotional items for the Elder Abuse Awareness Month outreach activities.
Animal Services General Fund
Help reduce animal overpopulation by promoting adoptions, and promote animal welfare, encouraging responsible pet ownership, providing pet health services, and assisting rescue organizations
Animal Services Adoption Fund
Help cover expenses for spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchips, and licensing. May also aid in the placement of older animals and those needing special medical treatment or extra care.
Animal Services Spay/Neuter Fund
Provide reduced-cost spay/ neuter vouchers and help bring mobile spay/neuter clinics to communities with no access to veterinary care.
At-Risk Youth Fund (Tulare County Probation Department)
Funding promotes pro-social activities that help disadvantaged youth succeed while on probation and supports the skills and insight needed to maintain that success.
At-Risk Youth Fund (Tulare County HHSA)
Aids youth participating in an employment program and working to transition to adulthood/self-sufficiency. Provides emergency monies for transportation, work apparel, utilities, and medical, dental, and prescription expenses.
Children's Toy Drive Fund-Child Welfare Services (CWS)
Runs October through November each year; donations of toys/money help provide gifts for children/youth who receive CWS services and are not in the family home during the holiday season.
Child Welfare Services (CWS) General Fund
Donations will help to purchase needed items for foster children, such as clothing, personal hygiene items, duffle bags,
back-to-school supplies, home safety items, therapy kits, and birthday gifts, plus cover unforeseen needs and emergency assistance.
Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Fund
WIC helps pregnant women, new mothers, and young children eat well and stay healthy. Donations will help provide food/beverage for mothers and children that promote health and well-being.
Homeless Fund
Donations will help supply toiletries, clothing, identification card/application fees, furnishings, cooking utensils/appliances, or may fund expenses like a utility bill or car repair for those experiencing, at risk for, or exiting homelessness.
K/T AAA–General Fund (Kings/Tulare Area Agency on Aging)
Donations help provide a wide range of services and activities to encourage older Americans to remain healthy, active, and involved in the community, from arts and crafts to Medicare counseling to home-delivered meals.
K/T AAA–Stockings for Seniors Fund (Kings/Tulare Area Agency on Aging)
A holiday season drive October–November; donations of warm clothing (or cash for purchasing) helps keep seniors warm while improving mental wellness.
Maternal, Child & Adolescent Health (MCAH) (Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency)
Donations help provide comprehensive health services for low-income, at-risk women and children, as well as pregnant or parenting teens.
Mental Health General Fund
Helps increase community outreach programs and enables the purchase of items of basic need. Accepts both clothing and cash donations.
Mental Health Wellness & Recovery Fund
Donations help to purchase wellness-related incentives for consumers of mental health services and to enhance program and group activities. As needed, funds may also be used for consumers' one-time emergency expenses.
Nutrition, Education & Obesity Prevention (NEOP) Fund
Reinforces healthy cooking activities; distributes nutrition information at community events; helps empower low-income residents to increase fruit and vegetable consumption, physical activity, and food security.
Step Up
Donations help promote community opportunities to address gang culture, establish successful collaborations to counteract the rising gang problem, and provide positive, alternative community activities for youth.
Suicide Prevention Task Force
Donations help increase prevention and early intervention services and help our community better understand and recognize the signs and symptoms of suicide risk through training, education, and activities.
Tulare County DA Victim/Witness Assistance Fund
Donations help offset expenses for victims of violent crime when other state or grant funds are unable to assist. Donations may also support crime victim-related public education and outreach activities.
Tulare County Emergency Relief Fund
Donations to the Friends of Tulare County Emergency Relief Program will support emergencies in a wide-scale effort to protect the safety of persons and property in Tulare County.
Tulare County Fire Department Fund
Donations help with purchase of specialized tools for firefighting, personal protective equipment, and other fire-fighting essentials.
Tulare County Fish and Wildlife Commission Fund
Donations aid in treating and caring for orphaned wildlife, improving their habitats, providing predator control, and breeding, raising, and purchasing fish and wildlife to be released.
Tulare County Parks–Disc Golf Fund
Donations help maintain disc golf courses at Mooney Grove Park and the Kings River Nature Preserve.
Tulare County Parks–General Fund
Donations help manage over 460 acres of county park lands, including picnic and camping areas, disc golf courses, lakes and ponds, and the Tulare County Museum.
Tulare County Parks–Lily Pond Fund
Donations help cover the cost of repair and maintenance, honoring the five-decade history of the Lily Pond
Tulare County Museum Fund
Donations support a wide range of initiatives, improvements, and events that include, but are not limited to, restoration projects, the purchase of items to assist in preserving the collection, and expenses related to events for the community.
Veterans Services Fund
Donations help veterans pay for bus passes to attend appointments, amending burial permits, and other items or services that fall outside the VSO's budget restrictions.
Friends of Tulare County General Fund
Donations to the Friends of Tulare County (FTC) General Fund are for use wherever the need is greatest. Support for this fund will help address identified needs and gaps, enabling FTC to continue to increase the overall well-being of the community.
